The OEC 9800 features mobile fluoroscopy applications and innovative X-ray imaging technology. Built on the leadership and experience of thousands of systems installed world-wide, GE has set the standard in mobile C-arm imaging with the OEC 9800. The GE OEC 9800 C-Arm System is a versatile unit designed with multiple x-ray applications. The 9800 Plus can be used in Pain Management, Orthopedics, Vascular and Neurovascular procedures. An upgrade from the 9600, the 9800 Plus offers 1K x 1K image resolution, higher image quality with lower x-ray dosage due to new imaging software. The 9800 also includes screen operations, excellent penetration capabilities, and superb image quality.

The OEC 9800s were manufactured from 1999-2006. The GE OEC 9800s have native DICOM capability on the system by way of onboard Ethernet. Both models come with a 9” Image Intensifier, 12” Image Intensifier, and the 9” Super C option. The 9800 has one additional configuration known as the MD (Motor Driven) system, which has the ability to electronically control the movements of the “C” by using a joystick.
