The Skytron Elite 6500 is one of our most requested and popular surgical tables. The Skytron 6500 is an electro-hydraulically operated, general-purpose table. This table has a maximum patient capacity of 500 pounds. A lot of other surgical tables claim they can hold that much weight, but the Skytron Elite 6500 can hold a 500-pound patient while still being able to fully articulate. It has a 180-degree tabletop rotation, that allows for unobstructed C-arm and microscope coverage. This helps eliminate conflicts between the surgeon and the anesthesiologist during head-end procedures. This also helps provide ample legroom for surgeons who prefer to sit during procedures. With a maximum height range of 47 inches, the 6500 allows for all surgeons to be comfortable whether they like to sit or stand while they operate. After all, the surgeon needs to be comfortable.

Movements

The Skytron Elite Model 6500 is controlled by a hand pendant. Click If you require a new hand pendant for your Skytron 6500. The whole controller is water-resistant and features a non-slip rubber cover that assures a positive grip during use. A spring clip hanger is located on the back which allows it to be hung on the Trendelenburg cap bracket or the table side rails. The buttons on the controller are recessed and include Trendelenburg, lateral tilt, back section, elevation, leg section, flex/reflex, kidney lift, return to level, and the floor lock/brake system. For safety, pressing any button on the hand control will activate the brake system. The 6500 also features manual controls that provide positioning for the head section, tabletop rotation, emergency brake release, and leg section removal.

The patient orientation is always correct concerning the table controls. The head section is always at the head end whether the table is in the standard or rotated configuration.

The height range of this table is between 26 and 47-inches from the ground, with a width of 20-inches, and a length of 76-inches. The Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg is 30 degrees. The head section can be raised to 15 degrees or lowered as much as 90 degrees. It has a lateral tilt of 30 degrees in either direction. It has a flex of up to 70 degrees and a reflex of 90 degrees and the kidney bridge can be elevated 5-inches. The leg section can be lifted 20 degrees or lowered to 105 degrees.
